Update: The Fox Point Project won the 2010 National Council for Public History Student Project Award. Aliza, Elizabeth, and Rachael accepted the award at the NCPH conference in Portland, Oregon.

This website documents the projects we have done with the Fox Point neighborhood in Providence, RI while graduate students in Brown University’s Public Humanities program.

Our work has included oral history interviews, a photo documentation project on Flickr, an exhibit, an elementary school workshop, a radio documentary, and a project to create geographic maps of residents’ memories of the Fox Point neighborhood.
